Among them, provisions have also been made for the maintenance and cleaning standards of public toilets. Sanitary cleaning standards are: no flies, no worms, no water on the ground, pickle stains, or cigarette butts, paper scraps, etc.; toilet flushes in time without dirt, debris, etc.; air circulation, basically no odor; regular sanitation and disinfection. Public toilets also need to set up “oversight and supervision departments and telephones in the obvious position”.

The Measures require Foshan to have 9 categories of non-paper, cigarette butts, feces, stains, odors, flies and other types of public toilets. The flies in the three types of toilets should be less than or equal to 1 per square meter. Only the reporter learned that the area of ​​Foshan's three types of toilets is between 4 and 6 square meters, which means that Foshan's three types of toilets allow more than six flies.
