The research and development of the coal tar hydrogenation to prepare cleaner fuel oil technology carried out by the 608 Group has received strong support from the National Science and Technology Support Program, the CAS Land Cooperation Project, the Shanxi Provincial Science and Technology Department and various large enterprises. At present, the institute is working with Xinjiang Aidi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. to apply coal tar hydrogenation to produce clean fuel oil in the heavy chemical industry park in Fukang City, and build a key investment of 270 million yuan. project.
