The registered surveyor system is a professional admission system implemented by the state for professional technicians engaged in ship inspection work. It is divided into two categories: ship and offshore facilities and fishing vessels. Each category is divided into A\B\C\D4 levels. The test scores are implemented in a two-year rolling management approach.
It is understood that the overall pass rate of the national registered surveyor test is very low, about 10%. In 2010, the A pass rate is less than 5%, and the B grade is about 20%.
