A group of 780MVA/500kV world's largest capacity three-phase combined power transformers produced by Guangxi Longtan Water Conservancy Project was successfully shipped by TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group Co., Ltd. in split transportation mode. This group of new products with small size, large capacity and low loss is another UHV and large-capacity product independently researched and developed by the company in recent years.
The Longtan Water Conservancy Project is the largest hydropower project in the domestic construction projects after the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. It is also an important landmark project for the implementation of the western development and the “West-to-East Power Transmission”. At the end of 2004, Shenchang, in the fierce competition of many bidders, stood out with its excellent design plan and successfully obtained the supply contract for all 7 sets of products, with a total contract value of nearly 160 million yuan.
In order to meet the requirements of special traffic conditions in Guangxi, and consider the medium factor of transformer installation in the cave, Shen Shen adopted a three-phase combined structure in the development, by adopting three-phase combination, split transportation, on-site assembly and combination.
