In the process of mineral flotation, the role of the foaming agent is mainly to promote the formation of a large number of foams of moderate size and stability in the slurry, so that the hydrophobic target mineral can float smoothly. The foaming agent not only affects the quantity and quality of the bubbles in the mineral flotation, but also affects the contact between the mineral particles, and promotes the separation of the hydrophobic ore particles and the hydrophilic ore particles adhering to the bubbles in the foam layer. It can be seen that the same performance of the foaming agent and the collector will directly affect the flotation index, and ultimately affect the economic benefits and resource utilization of the enterprise.

Jinduicheng Molybdenum Group Co., Ltd. beneficiation plant has been used around 1998 # 2 oil (ie pine oil) as a foaming agent flotation of molybdenite. However, in recent years, due to the difficulty in purchasing turpentine, the actual use of foaming agents is currently used. Because the enrichment of molybdenum ore is relatively large, in the process of beneficiation, the foaming agent is also enriched with the useful minerals into the selection operation, and the foaming performance of the fumigant foaming agent is affected by the pH value of the pulp. large, resulting in job selection sticky foam, metal and mechanical entrainment serious loss, we need to add a lot of coal oil foaming, in order to ensure the normal operation of selection. Therefore, the search for a new type of high-efficiency and low-cost foaming agent has become an important issue for mineral processing technicians .

In recent years, research on foaming agents has attracted widespread attention at home and abroad, so progress has been rapid. In foreign countries, pine oil has gradually disappeared, and the use of synthetic alcohols and ether alcohol foaming agents has accounted for more than 90% of the total amount. The variety of domestic foaming agents is increasing, among which 730 series, BK series, RB series, mine friends series, ether alcohol series, etc. have been promoted and applied in non-ferrous mines, and achieved obvious economic and social benefits.

After investigation, the A-200 produced by Shandong Anqiu Mineral Processing Pharmacy Plant was selected for experimental research. The test results show that

Foaming agent A-200 has a fast foaming speed and a clear foam, and the flotation effect is superior to the existing alcohol foaming agent.

First, the nature of the ore

The Jinduicheng molybdenum deposit is located in the granite porphyry and the Anshan porphyrite in contact with it. The ore types are mainly altered black mica , shale -forming Anshan shale and granite porphyry, and There are a small amount of ore-bearing quartzite and tuff slate . Metal molybdenite minerals, mainly pyrite, a small amount of yellow copper ore, magnetite and the like galena; gangue minerals are quartz, feldspar, biotite and the like. Molybdenum ore is generally produced in the form of disseminated, reticular, scaly and aggregate, and some molybdenite is produced in the form of hair or crystal.

The test ore sample was collected from the ball mill of the ore dressing plant and passed through the crushing process to -2mm. The multi-element analysis results of the test samples are shown in Table 1.

Second, the introduction of pharmacy

A-200 is an alcohol foaming agent produced by Shandong Anqiu Mineral Processing Pharmacy. Its appearance is brown oily liquid. The product density is 0.83g/cm 3 (20°C), and the effective alcohol content is more than 70%. The foaming agent has strong foaming ability, fast foaming speed, good brittleness, and is easily biodegraded than pine oil, which is beneficial to mine environmental protection.

Third, mineral processing test research

(1) Test procedure and test equipment

The small test only conducts the rough selection test, the process is the same as the on-site production process, and the open test process is shown in Figure 1. The grinding equipment is XMQ-76 cone ball mill, and the flotation equipment is the XFD type flotation equipment commonly used in laboratories.

(2) A-200 and current production foaming agent dosage test

According to the flow shown in Figure 1, the amount of the collector, the fineness of the grinding, the flotation time and the like are fixed, and the amount of the foaming agent for the A-200 and the current production is tested.

It is observed from the experimental phenomenon that the foaming speed of A-200 foaming agent is fast, the foam is fresh and easy to be broken; the foaming agent foam for production is relatively sticky and not easy to be broken. It can be seen from the test results that as the amount of the two foaming agents increases, the yield and recovery rate of the coarse concentrate gradually increase, and the grade gradually decreases. For the comprehensive comparison, the dosage of A-200 is preferably 60 g/t. The amount of the foaming agent is preferably 80 g/t.

(3) Closed circuit test

In order to investigate the effect of the return of the middle mine on the separation effect of the two foaming agents, the conditions of the fixed collector, the fineness of the grinding, the flotation time, etc., the closed-circuit comparative test was carried out by selecting the most suitable dosage.

According to the closed-circuit test results, the A-200 foaming agent is better than the current foaming agent. The A-200 foaming agent coarse concentrate Mo grade is 4.11%, the recovery rate is 95.93%, and the current foaming agent is coarse. The concentrate Mo grade is 3.37% and the recovery rate is 94.28%. The impurity S content and recovery rate are lower than the current foaming agent, and the other impurities are close to each other, which further indicates that the A-200 foaming agent has better selectivity. And the amount of A-200 is 20% less than the current foaming agent, indicating that replacing the current foaming agent with A-200 can not only improve the selection index, but also reduce the dosage of the agent and reduce the consumption of the ore dressing agent.

Fourth, drug cost comparison (estimated)

According to the above closed-circuit test results, the grinding fineness, flotation time and collector amount are the same, and the cost of the two foaming agents is compared. A-200 is 7 200 yuan /, t is currently used foaming agent 7 400 yuan /, so the treatment of 1 t raw ore A-200 than the current foaming agent saving agent costs are calculated as follows:

(7400×61-7200×49)×10-6=0.098 6 yuan/t

According to the company's annual processing capacity of 10 million tons, the annual savings of pharmaceutical costs is 0. 098 6 × 107 = 986,000 yuan.

V. Conclusion

(1) A-200 foaming agent has good selectivity, strong foaming ability, fast foaming speed, good foam brittleness, and better molybdenum effect than current foaming agent.

(2) Under the same conditions, the A-200 foaming agent dosage of 49 g/t closed-circuit test is better than the current foaming agent dosage of 61g/t, and some impurities are low, so A-200 can replace The foaming agent is currently used for the selection of molybdenum.

(3) According to the results of the small closed-circuit test, if A-200 is used instead of the existing foaming agent, according to the annual treatment of 10 million tons of gold in the city, the annual savings of pharmaceuticals will be 986,000 yuan.
