TSC wins a marine crane and service contract
Recently, TSC Group announced that TSC has successfully obtained a marine crane and service contract from Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd., which will be used for the renovation of a 400-foot jack-up drilling platform of China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec). On the project, it replaces the crane on Sinopec's “Exploration No. 7†jack-up rig. The platform is currently operating in the South China Sea, and TSC cranes are expected to be delivered by mid-2017.
It is reported that TSC is a 60-ton 198-200VE general-column marine crane. It is a high-end marine crane independently developed, manufactured and certified by ABS and CCS. This is the second cooperation between TSC and Sinopec, indicating Sinopec's recognition and confidence in TSC marine crane products. In 2015, TSC entered the Sinopec supplier list and provided two marine cranes for its “Exploration No. 3†semi-submersible drilling platform.
In addition, TSC also provides various pumping and technical services for Sinopec. As a strategic partner of CIMC Raffles, TSC has provided various types of cranes and integrated drilling package solutions for CIMC Raffles' multiple jack-up and semi-submersible drilling platforms for many years.
